Why are our deliveries several times a year instead of when you want them?

To keep our costs down we have to ship in pallets of 50. Courier charges for individual parcels from France to Ireland or the UK would be hundreds of euros. We have at least 3 campaigns a year - Spring, Summer and Christmas so you can get your stocks of wine delivered to your door in advance of the holidays!

Why does it take upto a month for our delivery to reach your door?

We prepare and pack each of your cases individually so it takes us at least 10 days to prepare each delivery - typically a good few thousand bottles - or several tons of wine (yes we are a lot fitter than we used to be!). We then freight them to Ireland/ the UK which takes about two weeks then customs must be given a week to clear them and finally they are collected by the courier to be delivered to you.

Why can’t you get the type of wine you want when you want it?

Although our full range includes several dry whites (sauvignan blanc, sémillon), dry reds (merlot, cabernet sauvignan), rosé and the highly esteemed dessert wine 'Saussignac' we don't always have everything in stock. We are a small vineyard specialising in wines that are individually hand crafted. There is a leadtime of nearly 2 years on our top range barrique aged wines. The best way to make sure you have the wines that you want from our range is to order now if a campaign is open or email us to reserve your case in advance of the next campaign. When will our next vintage be available?

Our latest vintage dry whites, rosé and reds are available now and selling fast. If you want to make sure you get your mitts on a case of next vintage before it officially released consider joining our Vineyard Share Club.

What if I get a corked bottle?

All our wine from the 2006 vintage onwards is bottled with DIAM, a cork made of natural cork components and guaranteed free of TCA (the contamination in cork which creates corked wine). Not only does DIAM guarantee no 'corked' wine it also controls the amount of air that passes through the cork to an optimum level based on different wine types. That will mean that our wines will safely age and are guaranteed zero 'corked' wine. If you get a corked bottle of the 2000 Saussignac please keep the bottle aside and email us straight away.

What if my bottles get broken en route?

If bottles in your case get broken en route we refund the money you paid for those bottles immediately.

What about customs and VAT?

Customs and VAT are included in our prices. We prepay the customs and VAT on your delivery before the wine leaves our premises.

Where is Chateau Haut Garrigue?

Chateau Haut Garrigue, Wild Earth Vineyards is in South West France on the edge of Saussignac village 1 hour 15 minutes east of Bordeaux city. From Bordeaux follow signs to Bergerac. When you reach Gardonne (about 1 hour 10 mins from Bordeaux) turn right to Saussignac at the Renault garage. About 4kms from Gardonne the road to Saussignac crosses a district road and starts climbing. About 100m after crossing the district road take the left fork (signposted Chat La Garrigue (us)). Take the next road to the left (directly before the cemetary). We are the last property on that road. If you reach Saussignac Village you have gone too far. From Saussignac village turn right at the school (also signposted Chat La Garrigue) and then right after the cemetery as you'll be coming from the opposite direction.
